DJ's Doodles

  Once upon a time, many moons ago, I found that I liked drawing stuff. Sometimes I would draw real stuff, sometimes imagined stuff. Sometimes it turned out right, but most of the time it was just another wasted scrap of paper in the trash can.
 
  Lately I discovered that I still like to doodle, when time permits. The scan quality isn't great, but then neither is the original. Ha! I will place them here for your enjoyment. Yep, it's just more useless junk on the web.

Bushmaster Doodles
 These are true doodles. We were celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary at the Bushmaster cabin at Longbow Resort. The week we were there we saw some rain, sleet, snow and sunshine. We take dry dog food to feed the raccoons. There is a little Weber grill out on the deck. All around the cabin are little forked sticks screwed to the wall for hanging stuff. We took a boom box that docks with an IPod for customized music and occasional weather updates. We played backgammon and Yahtzee and Phase10. We took some monkey bread (looks like a cake). The cabin has parquet floors. There is a big old tree thing over the kitchen cabinets. We hike and use a rope to lower down the steep grades (not repelling). I always take a backpack with Nalgene bottle of water (compass, ropes, and emergency stuff). We went to Heber Springs and saw the Trumpeter Swans that winter there. SMALLER IMAGE

Sailing Doodles
 We were on a sail boat (catamaran) named Pioneer Point for a week with some friends of ours. It was great. We sailed and played games and ate and generally had a great time. SMALLER IMAGE
